The Mountain Home AR Real Estate Market, as well as the North Central Arkansas Real Estate Market, is still sluggish but showing some signs of recovery.  In October of 2009, the median home price was $119,000.00, a increase of 1.3% from October 2008.  There were 59 home sales, the highest priced home sold for $365,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $13,000.  Although year to date the total residential market is down 19.4% from 2008 we have seen an increase in the past few months.  The volume of sales in October was ahead of January sales by 79.3% and ahead of February sales by 30.6%.   (All sales totals are taken from the Arkansas North Central Board of Realtors and do not reflect any sales outside the MLS.)
