With all the gloom and doom on national TV these days the real estate market in Mountain Home and north central Arkansas is still alive and kicking!  In May of 2008 the median home price was $126,700.00, an increase of 6.5% from May 2007.  There were 70 home sales, the highest priced home sold for$390,000 and the lowest priced home sold for $51,000.  Although year to date the total residential market is down 22% from 2007 we have see a steady increase in the past few months.  The volume of sales rose 37% from March to April and another 16% from April to May.  The best news for you is the numbers of your Ozark Home Team.  With all that is going on, your Ozark Home Team, Ann and Randall Messick, is UP in total sales, year to date 48% over 2007!  So call it luck… call it market savvy or just plain old hard work, what ever it is you want us working for you, to sell your house or find you the perfect home to buy.
